Bilbao and Vizcaya have plenty of tourist attractions and areas of outstanding natural beauty. The region enjoys warm weather most of the year, due to it's ocean climate. Bilbao has mild winters and warm summers with no extreme temperatures; the perfect climate for those of you who enjoy practicing outdoor sports.

You can also try one of the many delicious dishes at the typical Basque restaurants. They have a world-renowned gastronomy, with some of the finest chefs in the world from the area. In August they have the Semana Grande or Aste Nagusia in Bilbao, the patron saint festivities that lasts for 9 days and in which the streets are filled with concerts, people, fireworks and tons of fun!

If you enjoy a game of football, do not forget to go to San Mames, home of one of the first teams in Europe. If art is your thing remember to visit the Guggenheim Musuem. It is definately a must see in this area of Northern Spain.
