There are many important municipalites in Vizcaya, Bilbao in northern Spain. Here will mention the most important ones. Tourist municipalities, fisherman municipalities, industrial, historic and some that offer all of the services popular in the Basque Region in Spain.

We begin our tour through the municipalites in Bilbao (Basque region) in northern Spain with Mundaka, Sopelana and Lekeito...they are not the only municipalites though. Cultural tourism can be done in Gernika, under it´s oak trees. This city was bombarded by the nazis and picked up the pieces and got up again. This is the city that Picasso based his painting on. Of the fisherman municipalites we must mention the beautiful Ondarroa.
Last but not least the main industrial belt of Bilbao with localities like Bermeo, Barakaldo, Santurce or Portugalete. All of these in the province of Vizcaya.

There are many others of less importance but also lots of fun to visit such as Berriatua, Munguia, Durango, Baqui, Sestao, Elorrio, Lemona, Plentzia and Markina amongst others.
