All the way from the city limits of the Autonomous Region of Cantabria to the limits of Guipuzcoa you´ll find more than 20 coastal municipalites that Vizcaya holds. Some of the most famous ones along the Basque Region in northern Spain are those of Ondarroa, Guetxo, Sopelana and Mundaka.
Come to Bilbao, Vizkaya and have a great holiday! The beaches in Vizcaya, Euskadi in the Basque Region of northern Spain are well know by surfers worldwide. Bilbao is a main focal point for them. Beaches like those of Azkorri, Barinatxe, Mundaka, Arrietara, and Sopelana are great for surfing. You can also scubadive in the beach of Amitxekoalde or enjoy the Biosphere reserve of Urdabai, as well as it´s beautiful views.
Going to the beach in the Basque Region is one of the most beautiful places you will find in Spain. You can find surf schools if you´re interested in learning how to surf at the many beaches, whether they be urban, or nudist...there is a place for everyone.
